Meet our new pocket pals! We’ve created a boy and girl elf that can be clothing customized using your scrap supply!

Boy and Girl Elf

You might notice the bottom brad hole seems too big on the girl. The problem was actually with the brad, but we edited the SVG to make a smaller hole, along with a few other problems we found.

These two are easy to make, and follow the same basic instruction pattern as our other Pocket Pals.

Our cute little boy has striped socks. We left them as cut out strips, but you could change them to “pen” and draw them on his legs. We added a jewel to his cap that matches the brads that make his buttons and double as holders for the legs and arms that swivel back and forth. A white paint pen was used for the sparkle in his eyes.

Our sweet girl elf wears a dress with brads for buttons that also double as fasteners for her arms and legs. The holy leaves are cut out (included in the SVG) but the holly berries were hand drawn with a red glitter pen that coordinates with her red glitter outfit.

Both elves have arms and legs that swivel back and forth. They could also make great Christmas Tree Ornaments by punching a hole in their cap for a ribbon. The white part of the cap is part of the basic background. You could personalize a name in that area by writing by hand or adding text using DS or your Silhouette program, then attaching the text to the background. Writing with glue and adding glitter would also look great!

Like all Pocket Pals, our elves fit into the pockets of our cards to send as presents. They would work perfectly in our new Christmas Tree & Ornament Card, or our Basic Present Card made with Christmas colors.

Outdoor fun and celebrations during the summer are often held under tents or canopies. We’ve created some cards to help you enjoy the fun of tents!

The Circus tent card is great for Birthday wishes, children’s party invitations, or just sending a special greeting/gift to someone special.

The Tent Invitation omits the flag at the top, and extends the size of the tent a little. Included is a card for printing invitation details. Family reunions, backyard barbecues…any summer celebration!

As with all of our cards, the pocket is there for your creative use! Wording can always be changed if you like the “tent” but not the “message”.

Don’t forget that Pocket Pals fit in as well. Here is our brand new Bear. Perfect for the circus card!

Seriously, isn’t he just adorable!

Just this week on a local website was a request for birthday cards for a young lady whose mom is still recovering from Covid. Circus Tent and Pocket Pals to the rescue!

Personalize the outside band. We used Cricut’s new Kerning feature on this font! Can you see the Pocket Pals barely peeking out on the top?

Download our versatile tent cards and the bear pocket pal today. We think you are going to find a lot of uses for this one.

Our third set of board puzzles is available for download, as well as one of the characters on one of them… our newest Pocket Pal: Giraffe!

We added wording to the Parrot puzzle, to show how the puzzles can be adapted for educational use. Words can be added in Design Space, or we can custom make an SVG for you from our other puzzles if you request it.

Giraffe is our newest Pocket Pal. He comes in three pieces articulated through the use of two brads. He can reach high to eat leaves or bend down low to take a drink.

Like all our Pocket Pals, he is sized to be able to fit into the pocket of most Peeka’s Pocket cards. Bend his neck down and tilt his head, and he fits just fine.

Giraffe is shown in the Blue Bird card, which initially comes with “Happy Mother’s Day” on the banner, but we are including other sayings (10 in all) for our newsletter subscribers. Sign up for our newsletter to get access to these 10 extra single-line font sentiments on banners. (Imagine send this card which says “Sending all my Love” on the front, and “And a Surprise for you” inside!)

Penguin Pocket Pal

Not to be outdone, Penguin insisted that he be invited to Piggy’s dance party! Easy to do as there is not a lot of layering to be designed.

So here he is in all his black tux glory. Penguin flaps his flippers (which he sometimes wishes were wings) and kicks up his feet as he joins Piggy’s Jig.

Like our other Pocket Pals, Penguin is just 4″ high, and can fit in most of Peeka’s Pocket Cards.

He’ll nest perfectly in any of our Easter Cards. Just in time for you to add him to your menagerie.

Shown in the Easter Basket Card.
